alt CHARLES K. “CHUCK” BURCH age 85 of Mt. Morris, Venice, FL & Retsof, NY, died peacefully Wednesday July 31, 2019 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. He was born the son of Merle and Onnalee (Stimson) Burch on November 28, 1933 in Leicester, NY. He married Joyce Sattora on March 27, 1954. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement in 1995 he was employed as a Truck Driver for over 30 years at Genesee Stone in LeRoy, NY. He was a member of the United Church of Mount Morris, Mount Morris Ambulance, the Active Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department for over 60 years and a life member of the Mount Morris American Legion Post. He is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years Joyce. 3 children Lori Bartram of Venice, Florida, Wendi Occhioni of Retsof and Timothy (Tom Vitale) Burch of East Hampton. Son-in-law Mark Occhioni of Leicester. 4 grandchildren Eric (Mary) and Jason Occhioni, Jamie (Robert) Salisbury and Casey Bartram. 2 great grandchildren Charlie and Jo Jo and Step grandchild Sydnei Bartram. Brother-in-law Clark Sattora of Mt. Morris Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gene Burch and sisters Eleanor (Manny) Passamonte, Edith (Paul) George and Brother-in-law Harold (Alice Ann) Sattora. Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Where Firemen services will be held Sunday at 4 pm. Funeral Services with Military honors to be held Monday at 11 am. Interment at the convenience of the Family at Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers.
