Charles J. DiPasquale 1943-2023
altCHARLES J. “Chuck” “Chief” DIPASQUALE age 80 of Mount Morris, New York, died Sunday August 13, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born the son of Ray and Rose (Maccherilla) DiPasquale on April 20, 1943 in Dansville, New York. He graduated from Mount Morris Central School and achieved rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He served 4 years in the Army Medical Corps during the Vietnam War. He married Mary Guarino on November 28, 1964. He also graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University and Erie Community College where he earned a teaching certificate. After returning to Mount Morris in 1967 he joined the Mount Morris Police Department and was promoted to Chief of Police in 1971. He retired in 2001. He was a current member of the Mount Morris Fire Department since 1967 where he received the Livingston County Firemen of the year in 1976. He was the treasurer of the Seymour Chemical Company for over 40 years. Chuck was the first Criminal Justice teacher at the Charles G. May Center in Mount Morris. He was also the former President of the Mount Morris Central Board of Education, Co-Founder of the Mount Morris Ambulance Corps and was a member of the New York State Chief of Police Association where he served as President for many years. Chuck was also a member of Mount Morris Kiwanis, the Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick’s Church and the Mount Morris Library. Most recently he served as Town Supervisor for Mount Morris and on the Livingston County Board of Supervisors from 2006 to 2021. He will always be remembered for his service and dedication to his community. He is survived by his loving with of nearly 59 years Mary, 4 devoted children Raymond (Kimberly) DiPasquale of Conesus, Charles (Becky) DiPasquale Jr. of Florida, Nicole (Brian) Davis and David (Alicia) DiPasquale both of Mount Morris; 9 Grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, Johanna, Christopher, Joshua, Lucy, Cooper, Addison and Vincent and 3 Great Grandchildren Declan, Mason and Meira. Brother Raymond (Leslie) DiPasquale of Massachusetts. Sister-in-law Charlotte Harcleroad of Mount Morris and brother-in-law Joseph Guarino. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his grandson Jordan Davis in 2022 and brother-in-law Jack Harcleroad in 2016 Friends may call Friday 3 to 6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where a firefighter service will be held at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church, 46 Stanley Street, Mount Morris at 10 am. Interment with military honors at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
